- Seated dinner: one server per six guests, plus a dedicated bartender from ten guests up.
- Cocktail evening: one server per fifteen, one bartender per twenty-five, and one floater who only clears.

The hills have rules, and the neighbors have lawyers. Amplified music outdoors generally needs to end by 10 p.m. in residential zones; valet is not optional on canyon streets where parking is a rumor; and gatherings past a certain size can require a permit or trigger rental-agreement clauses.
